I loved this book from the very first page to the last. It is incredible how the author managed to put these very realistic creatures in an imaginative work depicting all local scenes around Comino. Besides the recurrent theme of working together and helping each other, I appreciated an exercise in awareness of the local spots as well as the creatures who inhabit this tiny island. It is a fantastic read for kids because through the simple vocabulary it does reach out to the reader making him/her simply love these creatures and possibly appreciate them more. The accompanying drawings are very eye catchy and help transmit the harmony and rhythm of the story.
